Music is enjoyable
Making music boosts happiness! Music class is fun, and allows kids to sing, dance, play, and create in ways they rarely get to do in other parts of their lives. Having the ability to create music is amazing.
Music makes you smarter!
Studies have shown that the study and practice of music develops language and reasoning skills, spatial intelligence and pattern/mathematical skills, emotional intelligence, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. Basically, music helps develop the whole person!
Music is for life
Music serves a variety of purposes for us, and is accessible from infancy through to old age. Studying music is a life-long gift.
